Work description

Use hand tools such as shovels, scoops, brooms, for sweeping, cleaning, and repairing grain bins, augers, equipment, and dryers; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures as well as farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Turning levers and knobs to dry grain, sweep bins with hand broom after grain is augured; Clean work areas; Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive to market or storage facilities in close proximity to the farm; Maintain inventory; Must be able to work in dusty conditions and be willing to work inside grain bins; Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate employer provided safety equipment. Must speak and understand English.
