Highland Property Pros LLC is a specialty landscaping company focused on golf course restoration and winterization services. We provide these services to premier golf courses to prepare their courses for winter months as well as restore their courses after a season of wear and tear on the turf. We are a returning H-2B program user, and the instant request is consistent with our previously established temporary need. Our start date of need is slightly earlier (less than 2 weeks) than last year due to expanding and evolving business circumstances. As we plan for the upcoming season, we feel this minor change will be necessary to meet our early season needs. Our adjusted period of need is consistent with historical norms for the occupation in our area of employment. Additionally we have secured some additional contracts for 2026-27 and consequently are requesting additional workers from last season. Period of Need Our need for workers corresponds to the time of the year when golf courses are experiencing a slowdown in the number of rounds being played or are closed to play entirely. With this application, the courses are open, but cooler temperatures and shorter days limit play, making it an ideal period to restore the playing turf at the course. Number of Workers We are requesting 35 workers to meet our contractual demands. We have attached contracts with our clients for this year, demonstrating the need for 35 workers. Temporary Need Our need for workers is based on a seasonal need. This need is of a recurring nature, as it is annually tied to the late fall, winter, and spring seasons, from mid-November through the end of March. We do not provide these services outside of the period of need as our clients do not require our services during the summer and early fall months. This time period is not considered a vacation period for our permanent employees, as we do not employ any workers in this position in our off season.
