Work description

Miami is one of the premier vacation spots along the Atlantic Seaboard. According to the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, the city recently achieved a record number of tourists with more than 28.3 million visitors to the city in 2025 alone. With a resident population of only 489,812 in 2025 according to the U.S. Census Bureau, the massive influx of tourists to the area creates an increase in the need for personnel that cannot be satisfied through local labor. Luxe Hospitality Group dba SS Hotel Management LLC (SS) was has formed in 2023 and in 2025 took over the operation and management of the Park Central Hotel, the Bentley Hotel and Meet Dalia restaurant. We are open year-round with the peak of our business extending from the beginning of November through the end of May. We have a need for workers on a recurring, predictable, annual basis as a result of this temporary, PEAKLOAD period of increased business. Sales As can be seen in the attached spreadsheet, our sales pattern shows a consistent year-over-year increase from 2025 through 2026. We have two hotel locations and each showed a similar trend in increased sales during peakload months. Notably, our Bentley location had an average off-season monthly income for the months of June through October of $305,379 and an average peak load income of November through May of $596,392a 95.29% increase from our off-season months to our peak load months. Similarly, our Park Central location had an average off-season monthly income for the months of June through October of $483,265 and an average peak load income of November through May of $999,833a 106.89% increase from our off-season months to our peak load months. We expect that our sales pattern for 2026-2027 will reflect the same pattern as in previous years that is, an increase in 2027 over the 2026 sales. Staffing In SS first full year of operating the hotels we increased staff during the peakload months from November through May, commensurate with the spike in sales in those months. Because we were chronically short staffed during the peakload months, staff roles were fluid during that time and workers had to float between various roles within the hotels such as housekeeper, front desk clerk, and laundry. Because of the nature of how the hotel ran in our first year of management, it is difficult to definitively classify workers as specifically housekeepers. What was clear, however, is that we were understaffed during the peakload months. While sales increased during the peakload months, the number of workers did not keep up with the personnel needs of the hotel. In order to staff the hotel during our peakload period, our staff were required to work long hours from November through May. This led to worker burnout and high turnover. We seek to add H-2B workers so we can be fully staffed for the entire peakload period, enabling us to clearly define roles within the hotel, give our established staff a normal work week, and improve staff retention. We believe that a request for five H-2B workers would go far in improving hotel operations, reducing the stress on existing staff, and allow us to increase our sales. We do hereby request five (5) H-2B workers for our peak load period November 1st, 2026 through May 30th, 2027 to work as Housekeepers.
