- Employer will make all deductions required by law (e.g., FICA, federal/state tax withholdings, court-ordered child support, etc.). Workers must pre-authorize voluntary deductions, which may include repayment of advances and/or loans, health insurance premiums, retirement plan contributions, and/or payment of cell phone, cable/satellite TV, internet or other service(s) for worker's convenience and benefit. Deductions may be made for the recovery of any loss to the employer due to damage beyond wear and tear. All deductions will comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law. Health Insurance is a benefit that some employers offer their workers for preventative care and medical expenses. If workers elect to participate in the health care plan, they may choose to pay for premiums by a payroll deduction for any additional health insurance in addition to the no cost workers' compensation coverage provided by the employer.

Work description
This is a Skill Level II position that requires at least three (3) month verifiable experience operating agricultural equipment on a farm that grows leafy greens, row crop vegetables, and melons. The Agricultural Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining tractors, implements, vehicles, trailers, and other agricultural equipment used in crop production. The position supports agricultural activities including soil preparation, planting, cultivating, crop applications, irrigation, and harvesting. The employee must operate equipment safely and efficiently, identify and communicate equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and follow established agricultural and workplace safety procedures. Workers will also perform reasonably expected routine maintenance, servicing, adjustments, and minor repairs on the agricultural equipment, machinery, implements, vehicles, and other equipment they operate or use in performing assigned agricultural duties. Workers are expected to identify and address routine maintenance needs and minor operating problems that would reasonably be encountered by an agricultural equipment operator in the normal course of operating farm equipment.
