Work description

This would be our winter work for HD Hay Company, LLC. During the winter months we focus on servicing. We will also custom feed (background) roughly 1,000 cattle for Ensz Feedlot and take care of roughly 600 cows on corn stalks for Haldon Fugate. We provide all daily care, daily feeding and treat sickness for all of the cattle. We will also be building, maintaining, and taking down several miles of electric fence. We will also take care of roughly 30 head of sheep for Haldon Fugate. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, load and unload materials and commodities, maintain inventory, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures. Must speak and understand English.
